# Connect ChatGPT

> Availability and read-only access for ChatGPT.

ChatGPT setup is not available yet. We must verify client registration and sign-in before
publishing the steps here. See [Watchdog MCP availability](/guides/mcp).

The planned connection uses **OAuth** and this read-only address:

```

This address never allows changes. For changes, use [Claude Code](/guides/mcp/claude-code)
or [Codex](/guides/mcp/codex) once access is enabled.

Attaching a file to a conversation does not upload it to Watchdog. Upload it in Watchdog first,
then ask ChatGPT to work with it. Read the [examples](/guides/mcp/working-with-watchdog) and
[how to disconnect](/guides/mcp#disconnect).
