# Connect Visma Net to Watchdog

> Connect Visma Net to Watchdog and grant access to invoices and documents.

Connect Visma Net by granting Watchdog access in Visma App Store. You do not need to create a client secret.

## Before you begin

Contact [integrations@watchdog.no](mailto:integrations@watchdog.no) for an invitation code. The person approving access in Visma needs the **Integration Administrator** role for the company.

## Connect

1. Open [Visma App Store](https://apps.visma.com/myapps) and select the correct organization.
2. Use the invitation code to find Watchdog and approve access for the correct company.
3. Find the company's **Tenant ID**. Ask your Visma administrator for help if you cannot find it.
4. Open **Integrations → Visma Net** in Watchdog and add a connection.
5. Paste the Tenant ID, select **Test Connection**, and save.

## For the Visma administrator

Watchdog uses its registered Visma app and requests the `vismanet_erp_service_api:read` permission. The customer grants access through Visma App Store; there is no need to create a separate API client for Watchdog.

Check that the Tenant ID belongs to the company where access was approved. See [Visma's documentation on invitation codes and the administrator role](https://docs.connect.visma.com/docs/visma-app-store).

## Synchronization and troubleshooting

Manual synchronization uses the invoice-date period you select. Automatic synchronization retrieves invoices based on when they changed in Visma Net.

The connection test checks a sample of invoices and documents. If documents are missing, check that the invoices have available attachments. For access errors, check the company's approval in Visma App Store and the Tenant ID in Watchdog.
