# Connect PowerOffice to Watchdog

> Connect PowerOffice to Watchdog and grant access to invoices and documents.

Connect PowerOffice Go to Watchdog with a client key for the company whose invoices you want to import.

## Before you begin

Ask a PowerOffice administrator to activate Watchdog as a custom extension. The person doing this needs administrator access or the **Settings → Company** permission.

## Connect in Watchdog

1. Obtain the client key from the administrator activating the extension below.
2. Open **Integrations → PowerOffice** in Watchdog and add a connection.
3. Paste the client key into **Client key**.
4. Select **Test Connection**, then save the connection.

## For the PowerOffice administrator

1. Select the correct accounting client in PowerOffice Go.

2. Open **Menu → Settings → Extensions → Add extension**.

3. Select **Custom** and enter Watchdog's application key:

   ```text theme={null}
   f177e850-5ec5-4c3e-aa6f-5e6655346d01
   ```

4. Check the permissions and activate the extension. Watchdog needs access to incoming invoices, voucher documentation, and suppliers.

5. Copy the generated client key before closing the dialog.

<Warning>
  The application key above is entered in PowerOffice. The generated client key is entered in
  Watchdog. The client key is secret and is hidden when you close the dialog.
</Warning>

See [PowerOffice's setup guide](https://hjelpesenter.poweroffice.no/api-integrasjoner).

## If access is missing

Check that the extension is enabled for the correct accounting client and that the client's subscription covers the permissions shown in PowerOffice. Ask your administrator for help if the client key is missing.
